Very good bagels and cream cheese, among other things. Probably my second favorite in the area, though it can get very crowded.

We stop by here every once in a while when we're craving a bagel. It's a solid option, the bagels have good chew and it doesn't usually take too long. All in all a reliable place to grab a bagel or bagel sandwich

Pricy but so worth it. Staff is friendly and know how to make good bagels. Place is neat and straight to the point.

I've had all the top bagel places in NYC, and many around Arlington/DC. There are legit, excellent bagels, boiled then baked that gives you the chewy crust with excellent traditional toppings. And their schmears are excellent. I have tried and enjoyed other bagels places around here - Brooklyn Bagel (the only one I can find open on Christmas) and CYM Bagels - but I don't find their bagels to be appreciably better. There is a line out the door every weekend and a line up most mornings. I like the "ET" everything bagels because you can taste the salt among the other toppings. Sometimes I wonder if they are trying to expand the menu too much because all the choices for sandwiches and other dishes come at you at the counter from different signs and promotional materials. But the bagels don't suffer for it, so I hope you ignore the inexplicable low average rating here and support them! I hope they stay in our neighborhood for a long time.

Our original thoughts were to come here for some of their awesome bagels. However once we arrived and we saw so e of the other delicious options that they had to offer, we had a change of heart. We opted to get two cinnamon rolls instead of the bagels. One of the best features about this shop is their ambiance. There is room for people to hang out and enjoy their coffee and bagels. Perhaps that is the main reason as to why this place is so popular. When we arrived there was a line of four customers waiting to place their orders, and a few others waiting to pickup their orders. Nevertheless the service here is always fast, and they had more than enough people working behind the counter today to take care of everybody. We found a cool little spot outside, and it was a nice enough day for us to enjoy it!

For the DMV area, excellent bagels. (I'm from NYC). Recommendation: you can call ahead for pick-up at later time. I did so for a Sunday mid-day when the store at Lee-Harrison shopping center was quite busy - and bagels were ready so I was able to skip ahead of about 1/2 dozen people. I was doing "take-out." Restaurant part was about 1/2 full. I didn't give a 5 because for people who didn't order ahead, service seemed somewhat slow - perhaps because short-staffed because of COVID Covid awareness: Most people not eating were wearing masks, all service employees but masks not required.

There's a mixed bag of reviews here so I thought I might chime in. I'll start by saying that the bagels are decent. I think the key to tasty bagels is getting them in the morning while they're still warm. I haven't had the egg sandwich or anything else for that matter, but it's a bagel place and they do what it says on the sign. They make bagels. Some reviews are stating that the service is poor. I didn't get that impression. I ordered the bagels and a coffee. They put the food in a bag, charged me the right price and I made my own coffee at the self serve station. Would I come in for a full meal and sit down service here? Probably not. But I hardly ever sit down for a meal at a bagel place. I'm there for a bag of bagels and some coffee. Speaking of which, the coffee was good. My only complaint is the lids are flimsy. If you do stop bye, keep that in mind. As for the bagels, like I said, they were warm, soft and fairly tasty. It's not Murray's Bagels in Manhattan or "insert your favorite Brooklyn bagel deli here." I lived in NY for 12 years (Brooklyn what!!) and I was spoiled by delicious bagels and pizza on a regular basis. But I've had my share of crappy bagels in NY as well. My take is that if you live in the area and you're up early and need to make a bagel run for yourself or the fam, this is probably your best option around here. That's my 2 cents.
